LifeShare Network Names new Director of Organ RecoveryOklahoma City (June 14, 2023) — Ashley Milam, of Oklahoma City, was recently named the new Director of Organ Recovery at LifeShare Network.
LifeShare Network is the parent company of LifeShare Oklahoma, the organ procurement organization (OPO), responsible for the recovery of organs and tissue for transplant purposes in the state. |

In this role, Milam will be providing direction and vision for the Organ Recovery, Surgical Recovery and Perfusion departments. Her expertise in process and team building will ensure the OPO continues the trajectory of success.
Since starting with LifeShare, Milam has held the positions of Organ Recovery Coordinator, Advanced Practice Coordinator, and Manager of Surgical Recovery. These positions are accompanied by a background in critical care nursing and leadership.
Milam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing science from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She is currently simultaneously pursuing a Master of Business Administration as well as a Master of Science in Nursing.
Milam is a Registered Nurse, a Critical Care Registered Nurse, and a Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator.
When asked about her transition, Milam said, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this amazing team in saving as many lives as possible.”
