NEW ORGAN PACKING TECHNOLOGY WILL MAXIMIZE OPPORTUNITIES FOR LIFESAVING GIFTIn a race against time, the ability to transport organs efficiently and safely is crucial for ensuring transplant recipients receive the lifesaving gift they need. In 2024, LifeShare and MaxQ partnered in a groundbreaking effort to revolutionize the standard for organ packaging. Now, on March 15, LifeShare will officially launch the LifeSafe Shipper, a cutting-edge packaging solution to reshape the future of organ transportation across the country.
Currently, many vital organs are transported throughout the state in Styrofoam insulated corrugated container, placing limits on the time and distance an organ can travel. Together with local partner MaxQ, a national leader in blood packaging and shipping, LifeShare Innovations is set to introduce a next-generation shipping system that will optimize preservation, tracking and delivery. “With the LifeSafe Shipper, we will create more opportunities to save the lives of those most in need of an organ transplant,” said Saravan Kumar, CEO at MaxQ Research LLC. “We’re proud to be a part of the team releasing this new technology.” |

The LifeSafe Shipper will feature integrated monitoring and tracking systems, temperature regulation technology and enhanced environmental protection measures, ensuring that organs remain viable to travel further distances.
“We are excited to officially launch this pioneering technology in just a couple weeks,” said Clint Hostetler, Chief Operations Officer at LifeShare Network “With the design process complete, we look forward to sharing the LifeSafe Shipper with other OPOs and doing our part to bring hope to families across the U.S.”
LifeShare and MaxQ are confident that this new technology will set a new standard for organ packaging and transportation and enhance the ability to save more lives and inspire hope.
