​LifeShare Welcomes Organ Recovery Surgeon

​LifeShare Network recently announced that Sreedhar Chamala, M.D., has accepted a role at the organization as an Organ Recovery Surgeon. In this role, Chamala is responsible for the surgical recovery of donor organs for transplantation or research. This position is instrumental in directing the flow of activity during the recovery process – allowing the organization to maximize the gift and save more lives through donation.

Chamala has more than 20 years of experience in the surgical field. Prior to joining LifeShare Network, he was a Clinical Surgery Instructor of Kidney and Pancreas Transplant surgery and Living and Multi-Organ Donor surgery at the University at Buffalo, Erie County Medical Center, and BGH Buffalo NY.
